This flip phone is not for those who are high on the style quotient but rather for those who are high on practicality. True to its nature, the Motorola i580 has a sort of steel plating design on the phone’s flap. All delicate functionality such as the microSD card, the USB port and the headset jack are covered with protective rubber flaps. All buttons and keys are covered by rubber too. The external antenna is sturdy and can take a fall or two.
The phone measures 3.8 inches by 2.2 inches and has a sturdy grip. The external display screen shows signal and battery strength, time and photo caller ID. Just above the display lies a self portrait mirror, flash, and camera lens. And the right side carries the volume controls and the Direct Connect button. The internal display screen measures 1.8 inches and comes with over 262,000 colors - making way for crystal clear graphics and photos.
