The BlackBerry Curve 8330 Red is a smart phone with a full 4 row QWERTY keypad and a pearl trackball, making navigation a breeze. The keypad is even backlit, so you can use your phone, and carry on with your texting and emailing, even when there’s little or no light. Unlike your usual smart phones, it just weighs about 4.2 ounces so you can carry it around and use it really easily. The smooth finish at the back, makes it easy for you to hold and use it too. With a resolution of 240x260 pixels, the display is bright and clear. You also have the usual Call, End, back and Blackberry menu keys.
On the sides of the phone you have 2 programmable shortcut keys, which you can set to use any applications, a 3.5 mm headset jack, volume on/off and volume toggle, and a charging port. The 1-year warranty that the phone comes with, ensures that your Blackberry is safe and covered against most damage. The phone runs on the BlackBerry OS 4.2.2, making the menus and applications really user-friendly. The TTY compatibility also comes as an added advantage. The home screen gives you a tray of easily accessible icons and applications that you use frequently. You can also change these according to your preference.

The now famous Push email feature on all BlackBerry phones is something you can access on the Curve 8330 also. You can manage up to 10 different accounts on your phone, and enjoy features like VPN, SMTP, POP3 and Spell checker. With the attachment-viewing feature, you can even view mail attachments in Word, Excel and PowerPoint right from your phone.
2.0 megapixels camera
The 2.0 megapixels camera with a resolution of 1600x 1200 pixels max, gives you good quality pictures. With the flash and self-timer, your pictures come out just the way you want them to.
